WHO CAN JOIN?: YOU CAN!! You need not own a Mustang to join. All you need is enthusiasm! To join you need not be a member of the Mustang Club of America, but we are recognized by M.C.A as a premiere Mustang club!! Everyone finds something of value in their memberships. For this company of people, there's a lot of fun in driving a Mustang or Shelby or just learning about them.
Mustang and Shelby's are greatly in demand these days and a good one is rarely offered for sale because discriminating owners realize they possess an automobile of advanced design and beauty, one that will retain its saucy, modern appearance for years to come with a little loving care. These people have insights and sound judgment and the Lower Delaware Mustang Club wants to help them preserve their cars.
WHO WE ARE: The Lower Delaware Mustang Club is a regional club of Mustang Club of America, with a membership area that includes all of Delaware and surrounding states. We are dedicated to the preservation of the history of the Mustang as well as the care, restoration and enjoyment of our Mustangs. Our club is represented on a national level by M.C.A., which has a membership of 9,000 plus. M.C.A. was formed to band together owners of this superb automobile to prove a medium of exchange for ideas, technical information, amusing reminiscences, and the purchase of parts - often at substantial discount. Lasting friendships has been formed through local and regional get-togethers as a result of the Club's Regional and National meets.
WHY JOIN?: Our primary purpose is to perpetuate the "MUSTANG NOSTALGIA". As a club, we have monthly meetings, car shows and car oriented events. We also try to supply technical and moral support to other members. We also support local charities. You will associate with a group of Mustang Lovers. Our monthly newsletter will keep you abreast of what's happening on the Mustang scene. Participation in our activities is enjoyable and you will be encouraged to participate in the running of our club and planning of our activities. Everyone has a specialty of some sort, and we need yours! The more help, the better we become.
Whether your Mustang or Shelby serves as everyday transportation, a relaxing plaything, or both, you'll find valuable help in your restoration, and maintenance problems, by talking with other club members! As a club we are a family and we stick together and help each other out when needed!
MEETINGS: We hold our club meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. Our meetings start at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and are located at the Golden Corral in Seaford, Delaware
ANNUAL DUES: Annual dues are just 10 dollars. That will include a monthly newsletter and club activities each month. You do not have to be a member of the Mustang Club of America. If you decided that you want to be a part of M.C.A also, their annual dues are 30 dollars. So for 40 dollars a year, you will be a member of The Lower Delaware Mustang Club and a member of the M.C.A. Included with your membership with M.C.A. is a magazine each month entitled "MUSTANG TIMES".
